if i use a XFX Radeon r9 280x with a AMD FX-8350, will it basically suffer frame drops or any other trouble while gaming??? ima use this build im planning for music production, photo editing, and gaming at 1080p 60 fps. i heard alot of things about AMD not being good for gaming but for editing and all that, the programs can use the extra cores?? im a noob at this and well i need some help !!

The 8350 may be a bottleneck in gaming, but the 8 cores will be better than a basic i5 in video rendering.

AMD is fine.

My desktop is lower than that specs you are suggesting and it runs great

You would get better performance in certain games with a high-end Intel processor, although the FX-8350 is no pushover. As for what kind of performance you'll see, it depends entirely on your expectations and what games you're playing.

Have you suffered any problems? with major games like gta 5, battefield 4? ETC ?

GTA V and Battlefield 4 are both quite demanding on CPU. Fortunately, both of them also scale quite well with core count. It may be worth checking out these CPU benchmarks for those games:

GTA V yes, but not just bugs in the game in general.

Also update graphical driver to the latest, because some games bug up lots with older drivers.

Thanks for the help guys. i saw the benchmarks and i think i shouldnt be worrying now. as long as i hit 60fps on those demanding games and im all good

It depends on the games you play, If the games you play make use of 5+ cores you should be alright.
