2nd hand laptops

 So I recently saw a 2nd hand laptop with a Core 2 Duo T7250 and was about to go get it but today I saw one with a Phenom II X3 P840 for a bit more.

RAM: 2 GB DDR2
GPU: Not sure
Maker: HP
Price: 110 eu

Laptop 2
CPU: Phenom II x3 P840
RAM: 4 GB DDR3
GPU: Not Sure
Maker: Compaq
Price: 140 eu

I opted to get the 2nd one seeing as it has quite a bit faster CPU and DD3 RAM. The intended use is to mainly give me some mobility and for light games (mainly old titles such as WC3) as well as having an easier way to use my bamboo for graphic design and drawing.

The core 2 duo is an hp and features only 2 gigs of ram whereas the phenom is a compaq with 4 gigs of ddr3. My question, is it worth getting the phenom or should I go for the duo?

Well, he stressed the Phenom with P95 and it barely reached 70C after 5 mins of it running and the laptop remained super quiet.

While I agree, I am also getting a 3 month warranty from the shop and the price is substantially lower for similar performance when buying new. I got to see it and it was quiet, cool and the only thing that struck me as being off is the keyboard whose keys were used a lot and a lot of them didn't have letters clearly visible anymore. For me, however, that's no issue since I type without even looking at my keyboard anyway.

Think after 3 months any thing may happen. Judge how that pc used with the keyboard keys.

It was a fairly worn out keyboard, probably due to lots of typing. Laptop itself is about 4 years old I would imagine.
