Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 Root

So I am currently trying to root my S4 and update to Android 4.3.

I did system backup with Titanium onto extSDcard and did a full system wipe /factory restore. When I try to clean the cache it boots back into 4.2.2 and launches setup software...

 

What can I do?

I wouldnt even mind if all my data was lost, I just would like to have stock 4.3

You need to unlock your boot loader then you will need to flash your recovery to something like clockwork mod.

 

From there you should be able to flash a rom on to your phone.

Just a warning the test 4.3 firmware is really buggy so i would wait till there is a full release keep a eye on XDA

The OTA (over the air) update is coming soon i would wait for that. That will be the full build and with that you will be able to keep all your data and you wont even need to root or unlock your boot loader.

 

4.3 is not much of a change i got it last night on my Nexus 4 and theres really not that much you are missing im thinking of going back to 4.2.2 but with cynagenmod.
