Thunderbolt 2 RAID Box worth it?

over a USB 3?

 

would need a new motherboard ($150-200)

and a RAID box such as one from LACIE

Different PCPartPickers for different countries:

UK-----Italy----Canada-----Spain-----Germany-----Austrailia-----New Zealand-----'Murica-----France-----India

The ethernet or TB?

I meant, the ethernet NAS option is probably the best solution overall

 

but if you're after RAW speed, then TB2 would be faster. Unless you had a 10gig ethernet rollout or something
