Computer Freezes, Mouse, Audio still work

My computer has been freezing for the past few months; the display stops working but i can still move the mouse around, and keyboard functions still work too, although nothing will change on the screen (besides the mouse). I built this computer from the ground up, this is my first build so I'm not exactly sure what could've been put in wrong (if anything). Or if it's an OS\software issue.
 
I've not really tried anything to fix it besides unplugging some additional items to the computer i had (blutooth etc.)
Any suggestions would be great, I really have no idea what could be wrong.
