So i just built a system for some person. the case is a 350d with the window so when i start it everything is fine but then a massive noise hit me and i look in the case and the bloody exhaust fan is flying around the place. Its not my fault as the fan is installed already, nothing was damaged and i put a different fan in its place that runs at a lower rpm. Anyways ho would you guys react to seeing a spazzing out fan flying around your system.

I would calmly take my panel off and pick it up. Then un-plug it. Problem solved. Freaking out about it helps nothing.

Wait. You say you built it but its not your fault because the fan was mounted already? So if you buy a car and none of the lug nuts are on then you drive off and all the wheels fall off the sales guy can say, I didn't build it, its your problem. Don't think that will fly, will it. You need to make sure everything it in tip top shape, including the mounted fan.

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

Which is the reason as to why i have it and not the customer, i was testing to see if the usbs work when that happened. Anyways thats the first time a fan has done that, even with my crappy skills at screwing things in. When you build things for other people you try to do it quick, furthermore ive never heard of this happening to other people and im surprised it had the power to push itself upwards. Ive built around 60 pcs and repaired a whole lot more. Thats the first problem ive had, no worries as corsair are sending me another one, kinda sucks as its a few days wait but what can i do?

There's always a first time for everything. Like you many systems have come and gone, but every so often there's that one computer with the odd ball problem that makes one wonder if its just to test us. I had a system with an odd rattle/vibration, thought it was a fan or sounded like it, so replaced it, same rattle/vibration noise, then proceeded to deal with other moving parts (hard drives), sound still remained. Eventually I took everything out of the case thinking I'll find the source of the noise even if I have to destroy it. The user was going nuts as he kept hearing it and it annoyed him. Eventually I found a case screw that was stuck in the front part of the case that only made a small tic noise when I rotated the case in the air, I could not see where it was jammed but ended up crimping the case where the screw was to lock it down, end of problem, then again after hours of trying to find the source. Odd how it made the slightest of rattles that would build up to a annoyaton!

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.
