VAC and Windows 10 Preview?

Any confirmed cases of the preview build of 10 triggering vac bans? Kinda worried about going onto vac servers while running this tech preview. Trying to hold off another month till the proper full OS is out.

Because its not a full OS yet thus maybe some files screw with or monitor apps in the wrong way triggering something? I dunno false bans from programs are a thing, why wouldnt a test build of an OS theoretically be able to trigger something as well?

It could but it shouldn't. Anticheats work by using "definitions" of known hacking programs, much like a antivirus program has definitions of what's a virus and what isn't. Valve has to manually add these definitions so it would very unlikely a valve employee added a monitoring program that's in win10 :P 

 

Side note, why are you using a beta as a daily driver? That's just bad practice :P

I only just plopped it on to get used to it for the next month.
