Hello friends.

 

Well I'm officially done with high school and university is the next step. However after a tour of campus the desk will be unable to hold a monitor let alone both my monitors and my massive air 540 case. Which means Bombour will be left behind. To replace him Ill need a laptop, I'm not a fan of small laptops, bulk isn't my enemy. Gaming performance is cool but not the main focus, being able to play a couple games on steam on medium settings is fine. If it could come with office pre-installed that would save me getting it which would be a plus. My price range would be around 1000-1500$ CAN for the laptop.

 

On top of that, I'm looking for a backpack and battery bank to go along with it. I saw linus's video on the razer bag something like that but cheaper maybe? As for a battery bank something that could bring my laptop from 0-100 once would be fine I don't imagine ill be on the move much but I always want to be prepared. 

 

Any input or suggestions would be infinitely helpful because I'm clueless when it comes to what makes a quality laptop.

Come on friends! I know theres a solution out there for me somewhere. I was kinda eyeing up the G501JW, my only concern is how is the battery life on a gaming laptop.

Day 3, starting to wonder if it would be simpler to build an a very small form factor pc instead seeing as how that's more my forte.
