Currently my build is as follows, asus sabertooth z87, i7 4770, 2x4gb gskill, 1x 120gb Samsung evo 850, I have no extra fans running and my PSU is a Antec high current gamer 620w. I recently bought a powercolor turboduo 290 and I'm a bit worried about my PSU and Id rather not "be on the edge". What should I look into to give me some headroom oc wise? And if I were to leave my card at stock how close would I be?

I have run one of those cards completely stable from a modified 320w. you are fine. If you are worried, take a multimeter and measure the PCIE power connectors and see if the voltage is between 11.5v - 12.5V

Should be fine, i'm on 650w with 4x 120mm fans, 3x SSDs, 2xHDDs, and i still have headroom for overvolting and overclocking.

290x btw.
