Ok heres the complete history of evrything and stuff:

at school we have shit dell laptops that are basicly un usable, they threw away the desktops that were ok and got laptops. so i desided to have a PC for school and i took a summer job to get more money, my first idea was to upgrade my current PC and put the old stuff in a new case with my old dead laptops hdd(rip laptop 2013-2015) but i could also have my desktop that im using right now as it is in its half shitty state and get a good laptop, my budget for upgrading/a new laptop is going to be about $550-600 depending on were the dollar stands when i get my money in about 2 weeks. my planed upgrade is to get a I5 4460 or I5 4690k for motherboard an asus z87-a and for grafics a Gigabyte G1 GTX970. My current rig thats going to go in a new case is a fx6300, 960gm-vgs3 fx for mobo and a GTX750TI, the thing im going to have to purchase is 8GB of ram and either a bitfenix prodigy M or a fractal design core 1000. is it worth not upgrading my PC and getting a laptop? in a bit over a year im getting a laptop anyway but it might not be that good, i dont know yet, so what do you think? should i get a laptop? if i get a laptop wich is the best one for my budget? any reflection on what to get and why would be nice. thatnks for any replys :)

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

After looking at your current build, and your planned, unless you need on the go computing or would like the convenience of, I would stick with your current PC because it really is a good build with 3.5GHz (it's overclockable!) and a GTX750Ti (have the superclocked model myself  B)). It really depends on what you'll be using it for. If you could tell me that maybe I could offer a little more help?

Okay then, so if you're looking to do that, then you would probably be better off getting a desktop. The laptops that I know of with graphics able to run BeamNG are very little and you will pay a pretty hefty premium for them. Those laptops will likely not fit within your $550-$600 budget. I could be wrong, but from my experience with them, gaming laptops (or powerful ones) are not cheap. I recommend having a good desktop, and a decent laptop, so you get the best of both worlds.

Then get a decent laptop for about $100-$200 at WalMart that can do all the things you need for school, and spend the rest of a graphics card.

Then find some decent laptop online, order that, and use that for school work, then use the rest to get an FX-8320e. That and the 6300 use the same socket, and it is relatively cheap, so there would be some space to get a graphics card. Right now you can get a GTX 960 for about $190 USD. That's a great price.
