I've recently got back from uni and I noticed that my battery is draining at an alarming rate (100% at 8AM to 0% at 2PM with medium usage), the phone stays at around 65 degrees no matter what I'm doing with it however when I go into the town center it drains normally as if I was at uni again.

Using: Xperia Z3 compact- Android 5.0.2

It also drains faster than it's charging on mains if I'm using it.

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

"Here is some advice that might have gotten lost somewhere along the way in your life.

#1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

#2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt.

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.

you should check some app working in the background, there might be something there.

i'm not sure if your phone has a (easily) removable battery, but if so, try taking it out and putting it back, it might be a contact problem

and on the charging speed part, try using a different charger, it could be tat the charger is broken

hopefully it's not the battery so it can be solved easily

The best way to measure the quality of a piece of code is "Oh F*** "s per line
