Hello! I am terrible at picking parts, can you guys help a noob out? 

I have a budget of something about $1000, it can be flexible.

The parts need to come from this shop: http://www.msy.com.au/home.php(No parts from online)

I come from Australia so the prices may be way more than what it is in other parts of the world.

Please help me, I am a total noob when it comes to these things.
