I see that you are using very high texture settings, what is the performance with them set to high or medium?

Too bad then, many guys reported better frametime in GTA:V with that driver including me.

he was getting like 20 it was unplayable. he installed 15.5 and everything went buttery smooth he said.

hmh, FPS doesn't drop below 30, i was hoping for 40 but that is fine too i guess. On my todo list I5

I have to save money for I5, new intel I3 is it possible that it will have 4 cores?

GTA 5 is very CPU intensive, especially when playing multiplayer. you won't get away with a lowish end CPU

Change shadow quality to medium. I got 45fps on very high and 59 when I changed it to high...

I just tried disabling 2 core to emulate an i3 and the bottleneck wasn't that bad for me though it did drop low 40s when driving in heavy traffics. 

What is your settings? Is your CPU/GPU throttling?

GTA 5 is very CPU intensive, especially when playing multiplayer. you won't get away with a lowish end CPU

with new AMD driver it's decent.

40s that is ameizing, what GPU do you have??

I have no idea is my CPU/GPU throttling, i don't even know how to see that

 

But i know max that my GPU has hit is 64C (GPU) and 67-68C (CPU)

In BF4 i get like 75C(GPU) and 71C (CPU)

GTA V is made for quad cores. So it's your CPU.

it's not a dual core to the game.

 

Nvidia does better with low end CPUs than AMD. Even then, that looks awful and I'd play with half refresh adaptive vsync to 30 fps for smooth gameplay.

Okay, this seems little bit weird to me that i'm getting 20-30 FPS when i'm in a Car or driving it, i can't even get constant 35 FPS. Sometime if i'm lucky i get like 50 FPS

I would turn shadow quality down, that's often a CPU killer. FXAA should be fine and I'd even try 2xMSAA with a 30 fps limiter. You're not getting 60 fps with an i3 on GTA V anyways.

with new AMD driver it's decent.

 

You have an Intel processor, this game asks a lot from the processor (CPU). I'm pretty damn sure your Intel i3 4150 is the bottleneck.

I agree about 30 fps, but I like it better than an oscillating 35-55 fps framerate.

My life sucks. :(

I have to save money for I5, new intel I3 is it possible that it will have 4 cores?

that would be an i5 then

i3-dual core ,HT

i5-quad core , no HT

i7-quadcore,6,8 , HT

 

dual core cpus arent that good for games
