Had 3*4GBs ram sticks, figured that it'd be better just to have 2(2*8GBs) and run them and dual channel , I noticed that I'm now dropping below 120FPS on the dota 2 source 2 game which did not happen before the upgrade, something wrong with the upgrade? Game used to hover around 160FPS, now it's around 115

EDIT: just tested on GTA V, constant 60FPS like before, with vsync, but now, it gets some kind of mini-freezes avery 5 seconds and drops at 30FPS

When you installed did you check your bios to make sure it recognizes it properly?

At this point I would say the RAM is either not seated right, damaged, bad, or the settings in your bios aren't quite right.

FYI, don't use a memory setting software in windows let your bios do it (that is if you are using one).

Alright, now I'm getting better and more consistent performance on dota after restarting, but the stuttering issue on GTAV, which I didn't have remains :/
