2G vs 4G

I am buying a new GPU, I do run 1080p should i get 2G or 4G VRAM on the card.

Depends on the GPU, if its a single 960 then 2GB, if ur gunna get two eventually then 4GB

 

Also depends on the games ur playing, i play titanfall and it eats VRAM so i would buy 4GB

really depends.

 

What are you going to play?

Do you mod your games?

How important is texture quality?

What is the specific card in question?

How long will you keep the card / want to future proof it? (god i hate saying future proof in the gaming industry)

Played it and it was really stale after like 3 days of playing multiplayer, I guess Im like the rest of the people that played it.

Thats enough to play games and whatnot, but not as much as people would probably like to see :P BLOPS2 is a 3 year old CoD and Im pretty sure it still sees more daily players, no roast intended, but you get my point.

Depends on your games! Also a 4GB version of low-mid range cards are kinda pointless...

 

Go for 290, 380, 390, 970 or better! Unless you CPU is very weak. :(
