ok i just built my new rig , and whenever i go to play any game , it freezes and random coulors come up like white and black vertical lines, i then have to reset the pc and it happens again , it happens in about 5 mins in witcher 3 or other demanding games, all my parts are brand new , i even tried changing the psu but still freezing..

Specs : Pentium G3258 , R9 280x , Apacer 8GB Ram , Antec 650w PSU thanks

check the pic i hope you can see it propaly but thats what it looks like sometimes it even white

There is no picture posted , anyway it sounds like it could be either a gpu driver (try updating or rolling back to a previous driver ) or a faulty gpu.

 

If you have a spare gpu you can try and switch to determine if the gpu was causing the problem. You can also use the igpu for troubleshooting and see if the problem persists.

Sounds like a faulty GPU. Maybe. Remove your graphics card and run the game with just the CPU and its onboard graphics. Don't forget to install the corresponding graphics drivers!

 

If the above fixes the problem, reseat your GPU, you might have just not shoved it into the PCIE slot properly.
