Wide vs. Ultrawide

Go to solution Solved by PineappleHolidays,

Thx dude, but my original question was 16:9 vs 21:9

that's an opinion.

You're comparing 21:9 ips 60hz vs va 16:9,

I would go with the 21:9 as I've owned a 24inch monitor and I think the height is fine, and 27' 1080p you're really going to start seing those pixels ( I would assume )

Hi LTT forums,

I am planning on buying a new monitor because I think my 21" 1080p LG monitor is to small.

So basically my problem is I don't know wether to buy a 27" Wide monitor which would be big and ease the spotting of enemies (specially as a sniper which has always been my favourite class)

or a 29" Ultrawide monitor which may look cooler but is a bit smaller in terms of height.

My budget limit is 250€ and so far I've got two alternatives:

1. Ultrawide LG: http://goo.gl/Cymd62

2. Wide BenQ: http://goo.gl/9BDek8

Games I usually play:

1. ArmA III (King of the Hill / Wasteland)

2. CoD AW / BO3 (as soon as it's out)

3. DayZ ArmA II / SA

4. Insurgency

5. BF3 / BF4 (Sometimes)

Also I'd like to know if 1ms are such a huge advantage to 4-5ms monitors.

So if u can tell me which one of both to buy or have recommendations yourself tell me! :D

Thx :D

1ms vs 3-4 isn't that big of a difference ( should be fine ),

5ms+ starts going close to being a frame in the past.

Thx dude, but my original question was 16:9 vs 21:9
