I just created a new twitch channel so Help me out and pass it on to your friends I steam games and sometimes maybe add some music and please give advice about what to change.

checked out your Twitch channel, Nice quality except that your framerates is horrible. One of the turn off right away for me is choppy videos. I would rather have an ok quality video that's smooth than a nice looking, but choppy video.

Choppy as in it goes stop and go. Sound was there it was following the gameplay except that your video was not constant and it was hard to follow because it was stop and go.

But if you don't give a people a reason to stay a while and listen Then you may never get a following to begin with. Sure many may only watch once and that's it, but without an enticement to begin with then people will never learn of your channel, if they like you afterwards then they will stay. come for the goodies, stay for the entertainment?

Well the idea is that if your channel is good enough, people will keep watching, they just need to know about it. The giveaway just gets their attention.

If your channel and content sucks then yeah, they will just watch it once no matter what method you use to get attention.

 

The only people that are going to pass on the news about your channel are the people who genuinely care about your success, which TBH probably isn't many.

You should really provide some form of encouragement for initiative.
