So I have a HP Pavilion 500-037c Desktop.

( Link to its specs: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c03789886 )

I want to upgrade the graphics so I can play high resolution games.

What I found was

ASUS GeForce GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 (GTX760-DC2OC-2GD5)
- 1006 MHz Clock, 6008 MHz Memory
- PCI Express 3.0, Dual-link DVI-I, DVI-D, HDMI, DisplayPort

This seems to be a good graphics card I am getting for a good price.

I need help to see if this would actually be a good upgrade or not.

If this is, I heard that you would also need a good power supply.

I am willing to upgrade both the graphics card and power supply.

So what would be the recommended power supply if this graphics card is good for my PC.

--snip--

Geforce specification for card you picked says you need at least 500W (It doesn't mean that this card consume 500W, they're just guessing that system with this card will consume less than 500W). So you will be good with 500-550W PSU any good brand like, XFX, CM, EVGA, Corsair and so on... you can have an eye on PSU with 80+ efficiency badge.

BTW. Does your case support full size ATX PSU? Edit: ok, specs says it does.

Thanks for helping me out with this. So I believe it would be a fine upgrade for the graphics card with a power supply 550-550 PSU.

Thank you very much
