Hi all,

So basically I'm in the market for some new earphones. Simple as that. So here is the requirements that the earphones would have to meet:

-Media control buttons on the earphones themselves (volume up/down, play/pause)

-Compatible with Android (the media controls need to be able to work on Android devices as well)

-Good sound quality

-Preferably white but it doesn't really matter if they don't come in white as long as they meet the other requirements

-In-ear. This is a must, they must be in ear earphones. I hate the other ones that just sit on your ear and leak all the sound

-£60/$90 or under. I wouldn't really want to go above this amount too much but I may be able to stretch it just a little bit, but nothing too crazy

So any suggestions?

Thanks in Advance,

Paul.

S4i is the only IEMs that come to my mind that meets all your requirements.

Do you have any experience with these headphones? Because I read that they are not very durable but I have never tried them in person. If I was to raise my budget to around £60/$90 would anything better come to mind?

Not the S4i but I used to have the S4. They were quite good. Pretty good at the noise isolation too. They had great bass but I don't think the treble was bright or "fun" enough for me. Still a great buy though since they are relatively cheap and fit your requirements.

These have everything except the volume control, just a mic and button, and they are a delightful blue colour rather than white. Other than that - http://www.amazon.co.uk/MEElectronics-Driver-Enhanced-Headphone-microphone/dp/B00D4MPZLK/ref=sr_1_103?s=electronics-accessories&ie=UTF8&qid=1374690294&sr=1-103&keywords=headphones

I thought volume up/down only worked for apple devices...?

No, you can get certain earphones where the volume works, I just think the newer Android devices use a different type of jack or soemthing so it can be a bit iffy so I think that's why almost no one makes volume control headphones for Android

They use the same 3.5mm TRRS connector as Apple devices. If volume control works, it's usually for a specific phone(s) and nothing else, or there's an inline resistor of some sort.
