Benq RL2455HM HELP

Go to solution Solved by DWN,

A quick search shows turn off AMA. First hit bud.

If not ...

Reset monitor to factory defaults. Then turn down the brightness to a humane level.

Use a different cable - preferably display port.

My Benq Rl2455HM has run perfectly since I got it, but I still have a couple of issues that I need help resolving.

I haven't been able to get the settings to look right for months, and there is a weird ghosting effect that happens whenever I scroll (with Middle Click) or game.

I'm using a gtx 960 and I definitely have the latest nvidia drivers.

The ghosting won't go away, no matter of fps or other software settings, so I'm not sure what the problem is.

My monitor settings are:

Brightness: 90

Contrast: 55

Sharpness:7

AMA: High

Instant Mode: On

Senseye: Off

Dynamic Contrast: Off

Overscan: Off

and HDMI RGB Range set to full.

How can I fix this annoying ghosting? and any recommendations for more pleasant settings?

Brightness now at a much more comfortable 60 (I didn't realize how straining 90 was until I changed it). and turning off AMA got rid of the ghosting

THANKS A TON!!!!!

I kept it on, because I thought AMA was supposed to help specifically with ghosting. Unless what I was experiencing wasn't ghosting after all.
