Hi, I'm new to the PC world and I plan to build one sometime soon, but while I have an HP Envy 17 with a Core i5 I'd like to get some more "Juice" out of it.  So I was wondering if you guys, of the Linus Tech Tips community could provide me with a list of overclocking utilities that I could use with an Intel CPU.  Also it'd be really cool if you could give me utilities that will allow me to over clock my Intel HD GPU(Yes I know it's boring standard hardware :P).

I'm playing my Xbone on 3 LG Curved monitors-No one ever

Please, read CoC it helps, it helped me it should help you-Every competent member

Resident bad pun maker.....please excuse them

I did notice I couldn't change my factory clock speed when I got into the BIOS.  But you are probably right because HP's(Especially Envy's) are notorious for bad cooling and have been asked for recalls to be made.

yeah its better safe than sorry with most laptops. Overclocking wont change the world, its just a slight boost.
