I'm looking for a nice fancy watch to use on a daily basis.

I am currently using a Rotary skeleton watch that uses movement to power it with a leather strap. I like the watch itself but I don't like the way it looks, I prefer big, chunkier watches with stainless steel wrist bands.

Does anyone have any personal recommendations for a decent watch like how I described? Looking at spending around £100, if possible less, as I don't have a lot at the moment

Get a smart watch, they are awesome.

I was tempted to get a Sony smartwatch but I prefer a mechanical watch personally, more reliable and got a smartband anyway

I have had a g watch r for over 3 months and the thing is super reliable, like I only had problems with it 4 times, but nothing just a restart didn't fix, and I get more than 2 days of battery life on it with the screen on permanently.

I have an Elgin that belonged to my great grandfather that's about 80 years old that is still ticking. The back plate wore away after my great grandpa wore it everyday until he died, but my grandpa got it fixed. That's the only problem it's ever had (that I know of) and has had no problems mechanically. I know they are not making watches anymore, but if you are looking for something older and reliable, I recommend it. I have one like this http://timerecs.com/imgs/a/c/g/u/u/vintage_elgin_gold_10k_rgf_men__s_wristwatch_watch_1_lgw.jpgonly mine has a longer face. I also know that my grandpa has had the same Timex watch for around 30 years. I remember he told me that he had an issue with it once, but it had a lifetime warranty, and they replaced with no questions asked.
