Best VPN

I am thinking about getting into the VPN game. I was wondering if anyone knew which one I should go with? I haven't been able to narrow one down yet.

I used torguard for a bit.

It's all right, not the greatest.

Max speeds 2MB/s on a server in my country, 400KB/s USA servers, other servers I tried were crap.

 

Easy to set up, reasonably cheap if you find a 50% off voucher like I did. It depends on the month though.

I'm based in USA but they have servers all over the world.

 

My download speed doesn't drop at all when using the VPN and if I choose one of the servers closest to me I can even game with it turned on. Typically my ping will rise up about 70ms.

Depending on what you are going to use it for, PIA (private internet access) will be best for torrenting. However, one idea that may be over looked is hosting your own. I host one on a 1GB RAM VPS, which has 3TB of bandwidth, which is great for unblocking stuff at school. However most VPS providers will get mad if you use it as a seedbox or torrenting VPN. But, if you use a VPS, you have full control and can also do whatever else you want with the server. So basically, PIA for simple + torrenting, or VPS for full control + a server to screw around with.

i have used hotspotshield and the built in VPN in Avast but now use VyprVPN and find it to be pretty good overall.
