Clean install on ThinkPad?

Go to solution Solved by LogicalDrm,

You can do it either way. With Lenovo recovery disks you will get whole lotta bloatware with it. With just OS you will need to get software suite and/or drivers from Lenovos support site yourself. When I was using windows with T60 (currently running Ubuntu), I used recovery disks and removed all bloatware manually. But that was only because I used downgrade version Vista->XP.

Should I do a fresh install via a usb stick or will I run into problems concerning drivers etc?

If second, is there a lenovo tool that i am supposed to use?

Its an lenovo E550 Thinkpad.

thats not even what i was asking about.

We'll what are you asking?  The question went "Should I do a fresh install via a usb stick or will I run into problems concerning drivers etc?" assuming you're using internet engrish, you meant "Should I do a fresh install of Windows via a USB stick?  Or would I run into problems concerning drivers, etc."

Not only did I answer the question, I gave you a great resource to make sure you didn't have any issues.  Also, in that link, I provided you direct links to several tools to help you do it smoothly.
