Deleted all my passwords, help?

Octavialicious

Hey, being the idiot I am I had all of my passwords on a flash drive I have hidden in my drawer. But, I accidentally deleted the text file that contained all of them. I haven't moved anything on the flash drive since then so I feel I may be able to recover them, but I'm not sure how I would do that. pls help :c

Recuva will more than likely do the job for you.

If he were trying to get that information for malicious intent, he would most likely say he accidentially deleted his report or something other than that he deleted his password, so I believe he is being honest, but yeah, it seems pretty suspicious.

Use Recuva.  It's the best option.  I hope you can recover stuff off a flash drive though, It could be gone for good.

How do you even manage to accidently delete that? And how many passwords could you possibly have?

was using the usb drive to move my minecraft server files, and I don't have many passwords, it's just I have 11 emails for my 11 minecraft accounts :P it's hard to remember all of them lol

Another vote for recuva. Let it do a deep scan and let it recover the file(s) TO ANOTHER DRIVE.

During the recovery of files, there's a chance that the recovered file overwrites one that still needs to be recovered. Not so much a problem if you only have one file to recover, but it's a good idea to do it the right way nonetheless.
