What will you use it for?

If it's for gaming, what kind of games?

If it's for productivity, what kind of things will you be doing?

5000 CAD = 4000 USD

and you only need about 1500 USD for a really good PC

Not an overkill case at all. :)

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

With the case, not to mention one of the worst PSUs EVGA makes.

Yeah but you don't skimp out on a PSU. So why not spend a little more to get a better, more efficient one.

By efficient I mean the better version of that PSU a.k.a the G2/P2/B2 versions of these PSUs.

A good gaming PC doesn't need a $4000 budget. $1500 is enough for all of your gaming needs with anything above $2000 being wasteful. Unless you are doing some serious rendering, 3D modeling, and business work its just not needed. Better to put your money elsewhere.

Because the B1/G1/P1 are bad PSUs, ask anyone that knows something which they would recommend. Also do you think if the first line was good they would make a second line of the same branding but better quality?

I would like it for gaming and some not very advanced programs for work.

I would like a 4k monitor included in $4000 U.S. and mouse keyboard and headset included also

so just reduce in my build from above the ssd to 256 gb (thats enough, maybe 512gb) and you'll get a monitor and a headset

Just no.

Way too overkill, lol.  Get an i7 4790k or 5820k with 16GB of RAM, 500GB SSD, and a better case...  Thermaltake is okay, but I personally hate the look of their cases.

For those wondering about the NEX PSU, the NEX PSU is made by FSP and under technical review (many sites) has proved to not be very good at all.  The EVGA GS/PS are made by Seasonic, and the B2/G2 are made by Superflower.  The GS/PS/B2G2 PSUs are rated much higher than the NEX.  People do this shit for a living, the information is out there.

Here is a useful little PSU resource:  http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html
