usb issues

hi  i finally completed my 1st build last night but i cant get this one last thing figured out . 

i leave my pc hooked up my tv which is about 10-12 ft away from my bed so i have always had 2 10-12ft usb cables for my razer mouse and keyboard. 

my new build refuses to boot with the mouse plugged in it freezes at rog splash screen and if i wait till windows boots it will only work if i dont use the usb extension cable. 

i have tested on a laptop and 2 other pc's in the house and it works with the extension cable on them. 

i have tried all of the usb ports and they all behave the same way

"usb device not recognized "is the error i get when using the usb ext cable

 

any thoughts

I think that either the extension cable is damaged, or that it cannot deliver enough power

i have 2 and they both work for the keyboard and will work for the mouse on any other pc just not this one for some reason.it seems like this motherboard isnt pumping out enough juice via usb or something
