Looking for a device to fulfill my needs preferably under $3,000. I own a company and do a wide range of work on the computer:

* Sending correspondence and typing long articles.

* Post production for company photo-shoots and video production.

* Presentations at meetings.

* Financial/Accounting/Budgeting

Because of these reasons here is my necessity list:

* Good keyboard

* Workstation grade or discrete graphics card

* No ridiculous appearance and lighting (this needs to look professional, not like it was designed to attract a 12 year old gamer)

* Number pad

* No larger than 15.6"

* For the price tag it needs to be an ultrabook form factor. I don't want to carry a behemoth.

* PREFER to have the ability to dock (dock at office and dock at home for quick output to displays/peripherals)

This will not be used for gaming, at all. Long battery life would be a plus. I can't tell the difference between 4k and FHD on a laptop so for battery sake I'd prefer FHD however I'm not going to shun 4k or resolutions higher than FHD

So far I have looked at:

MSI WS60

Dell Precision M380

Dell XPS 15 (2015 Edition)

Lenovo W550S

Asus UX501 Pro/ Asus ROG G501

HP Elite Books

Please help me find the best ultrabook for my situation. I'm not considering laptops and I am willing to pay for the higher price tag

Try looking at some of asus zenbook line. The hard thing is that not alot of ultra book have a discrete gpu and from looking at what you are going to do on the ultra book it's not very demanding and require a gpu. I say the Asus Zenbook UX303LN is a good choice for you.

Mainboard:ROG-STRIX-B360-G-GAMING/Cpu:I5 8400 /Gpu: Galax RTX 2070 /Ram: Corsair Vengeance 16 GB DDR4/ Storage:1TB HDD 2 Corsair SSD PSU : Corsair 550W/Cooling: Silverstone Air Cooler/ / Case : Corsair/Keyboard:Razer Chroma TKL/Mouse:Mionix Castor+Steelseries Qck Mass/Headphone:V Moda M100

Quote me if you when me to reply to something.

Didn't see your edit. The UX303LN is a good option is it worth it to go from the UX303LN to the UX501 Zenbook Pro?

Well the ux501 is heavier 2.26 kg vs the 1.45 of the ux303ln and it's about $1000 more expensive. It's spec are quite abit better and the screen is a nice upgrade not to mention it has a much bigger ssd for storage plus an extra 4gb of ram. It's really up to you but since money is not an issues i would go for the ux501
