To tell you the truth, I have no idea what i am going to do with it. Just want enough power for whenever I need it.

lol, kinda went with the dom plats because they looked cool. haha

Is so unbalanced is not even funny, why build a PC if you literally have no clue what your plan is on how your going to use it.

He tried. Isn't bad for not knowing what he was doing.

For the adventure.......

Do you wanna game? Do you wanna do YouTube, or live streaming? What resolution? 1080p 1440p or 2160p. What FPS? 30fps, 60fps, 100? Things like this. Do you tend to have 10+ Tabs open watching YouTube, twitch, browsing forumns ect ect..

Almost $300 cheaper so you can spend extra on the cooler if you wish, and grab a 4790k if you're going to overclock. You can easily add another 970 at any point, if you wish.

The thing I most want is speed when i'm doing things(mostly browsing and moving around files), for that reason i choose things like the i7 4.0 ghz with 100i for over clock, Samsung ssd for programs, etc(things unrelated from media files-for that use hdd), and corsair vengeance pro with 2.4 ghz.

Oh and I think I gave the wrong link(this one has minor changes)

Not sure if thats the way to handle these kind of things, remember I am  technoob

Interesting, the xeon, would that still provide me with a consumer grade performance I want or would it be more toward server grade performance.

RAM speeds, and timings make absolutely no difference. Overclocking an i7 isn't going to give you 100x better read/write speeds or anything. A nice 850-EVO will give you great read/write speeds in comparison with an HDD, so you'll be fine. 850-Pro is a good SSD, but over-priced. Not worth the premium over the 850-EVO IMHO , well, as long as the money can be better spent elsewhere. The Xeon will still be fine. The E3-1231 V3 will perform very similar to an i7-4790, except it has no iGPU. If you want to pay the extra $50 or whatever it is for the unlocked i7, then do so, but I'd probably grab a better cooler so you can OC quite nicely. The cooler I suggested would be fine though, as would the Be Quiet cooler suggested above.

Interesting, thanks, I'll look over everything again tomorrow and make some of the changes you suggested.
