help cant install windows

so my windows 8.1 180 day trial is up ( 180 because DID REARM IT ALREADY) sorry I put that in caps because every time I asked about this a person always says just reram it even though I stated I already did

 

so I went to install windows (the trial again) on my empty 320gb HD so I can keep all the stuff on my 1TB but it said something like its a MPB drive or something like that and on EFI it has to be a G__ (forgot the other letters) type drive to install windows on it and im super confused. so the n I tried to reintall it on my 1TB but it said the same thing. even though I already installed it on my 1TB HD when I first built my pc. does anyone know how to fix this or what I need to do to install it?

 

 

at first I didn't want to format my 1tb but I tried to download this activator thing and my pc is hella fucked up google chrome wont even load I stat waiting for 45 min on it to load linus tech tips and never did so I had to use IE to type this

first...boot up a linux cd..probably ubuntu

copy your important data to the other drive

 

next...disconnect the drive will all your important data

next

boot up the windows cd..and go through the install...

when you get to the partition screen...delete all the partitions and remake a new one...maybe 2 new ones if the drive is over 500gb

then once the new partitions are made you will be able to install

Best thing you can do is just buy you a nice copy of Windows, then backup your data and do a clean install.  If you don't want to buy a copy of Windows Linux is a viable option.  Also you can get the Windows 10 Tech Preview and use it.
