Networking isuue

So, I have a dns service for a mincraft server that I host on my local network. The issue comes in when my house ip address updates and then the dns service will update as well of course. So when the ip updates the whole network crashes for a couple minutes and drops every computer phone on the network. I have checked the modem and no reboots,no drop of connection. I have tried everything and anything to fix this I have gotten my cable replaced twice, and network connection check and nothing. If you have any help plz comment I will try anything! If you need to know details just comment and Ill replay with the information you request!

this feels like an issue one of the major belgian ISPs tends to have, where when their IPs update, some devices have difficulty reconnecting, causing what seems like an outage for about a minute.

this is why IPs shouldnt change for a user thats currently doing something, and so far only one of our 3 big ISPs here in belgium seems to get that.

ok so I live in canada and I have one of the major isp provieders here so is it worth calling them? Is this a modem issue then? because it worked fine 6 months ago but ever since it has crashed and so ive had to turn off the server and the dns service to use my internet !
