GTX 980 TI, 1440p and G-Sync

Xeenos

I'm looking at getting a Asus RoG Swift but I'm wondering if the hit in frame rate from going to 1440 to 1080 is worth the increased in image quality. I was also wondering would G-Sync help in offsetting the performance drop?

Judging by the fact you're running a single 980Ti, you should be hitting about 100fps average in games.  G-Sync should also help, yes.

EDIT: Nice profile pic, one of my favourite animes of all time.

You most probably will hit the 120 mark...

What processor will you use? if an i5 you wont hit it... and stay around 100ish

yeah 120+ if you overclock

Depends also on the games you play, I believe GTA V for around 70ish on average. If you OC you will get another 5-15fps
