I remember a dude at my high school wore a Rob Ford shirt and they made him take it off.  It said "I get enough to eat at home" on it.  But yeah obviously if you're going somewhere classy, you shouldn't be wearing something like this.  Or a shirt with a logo at all if you're going somewhere really nice.
