Hello LTT community. Over the past few days I have been struggling to install KUbuntu onto one of my computers and after 3 flash drives, several different usb ports and 2 different usb installer programs i have it installed. The issue now is that nothing usb works with linux because it cant automatically install drivers. I managed to get *kinda* set up with just my ps2 keyboard, but how can i install the motherboards LAN driver to connect to the internet for the rest of the divers ill need?

Try a different flavor of Ubuntu and see if it works, just try the live version. You can also try googling your motherboard linux drivers. Final idea is to test it with a usb dvd drive!

I would suggest letting the installer connect to the internet and install latest files during the initial process.

Also try regular Ubuntu and install KDE once its done.
