HyperX Fury RAM + Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H

Hi guys,

I was planning to replace my ordinary kingston memory modules (DDR3, 1333MHz) with some pair of them HyperX Fury DDR3 RAM modules. Would the 1866MHz sticks work on my board (Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H)? It says in the Gigabyte website that.. :

"... Support for DDR3 2800(OC)/1600/1333/1066 MHz memory modules"

Would the 1866MHz sticks work? Will they downclock to 1600MHz, instead? I mean, if they downclock, then that's no problem with me, I just want them to work, if ever.

Thanks! :)

If the board supports XMP, which it should because it is a z series board, the ram should work, all you need to do is go into the bios and enable it.
