4ch USB dvr help!

right I bought a brand less 4ch dvr USB dongle.

I've installed the drivers and the software and plugged in the device.

it shows up in device manager and the cctv software detects when it's plugged in or removed.

however I can't get any cameras to work.

the cameras are all plugged in and have power and work on my other dvr.

am I missing something?

in device manager it shows as SMI grabber device, model number says unknown so I can't be any more helpful.

easycapture seems to been a brand online that's the same looks wise.
