Start > Run > 'msconfig' and use the boot tab to modify your boot.ini file. Remove the old OS option.

Hello there! :)

 

I have installed windows 8.1 on my new SSD, and after the installation i formatted the old SSD which earlier had the OS on it.

 

But when i boot up now i get the option to either boot OS1(sata9) or OS2(sata10(which is deleted))

any solution?

when you installed windows on the new SSD did you unplug all your other drives?

When you installed the second OS, the installer detected the first one and automatically assumed you were going to run dualboot. After the installation, Windows' bootloader doesn't check anymore if all the OS'es are still there, it just assumes they are.
