Multimeter Question

On the site, it says that it runs on two dry batteries. Is there a chance that they need replacing? I can't really tell (the needle moves when I try to measure resistance, but I don't know how accurate it is.)

Just pick a simple resistor and do calculations http://www.1728.org/resisclr2.gifthen use your multimeter and see if those match.

You really need batteries to measure resistance.

The needle could move, but get a resistor to know if the batteries are ok.

Get a 1K resistor and do some tests.

I have a few resistors, but they look like they are out of the 70s (as the multimeter is) so I'll probably grab some new ones, and test it out on those. Thanks!

I used one of those in school, it needs 2 AA batteries.
