Looking for a custom backup

Go to solution Solved by d3sl91,

I use a program called Bvckup. It pretty much does this (it's called Delta Copying) https://www.bvckup2.com/#delta-copying

https://www.bvckup2.com/

Only makes changes to files that were changed, doesnt do a full backup every time (or parts of files in this case).

I know how to backup the "normal" way, but I don't think that would work well for my uses. I am looking for a backup plan that will only update what already is backed up and not create an entire backup of everything each time.

An example of what I want vs "normal", the 1-5 represents the backup number

           My plan

1. Backup C drive

2. backup new files that were created on C

3. backup new files that were created on C

4. backup new files that were created on C

5. backup new files that were created on C

  "Normal" backup

1. Backup C drive

2. Backup C drive

3. Backup C drive

4. Backup C drive

5. Backup C drive

If anyone knows how I could do this, it would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Do you know if it's safe? It looks really good.

It does cost money - but there are others that do a similar type of operation.

I currently have it running on 3 machines, all backing up to a server on my network. It has been running for about a year now and not once have I had a problem.

Sounds to me like you want something that'll do incremental backups. I was going to suggest Acronis, but @d3sl91 got in before me with something else. Good luck with your backup endeavours!

If I buy the "Personal copy" can I use it on multiple PCs?

So, I see that the beta is free. Is the beta safe?
