I am looking to do some overclocking of the CPU to use this as both an editing and a gaming rig.

as you can see it is still the stock intel heatsink with no additional fans.  any suggestions on cooling solutions, allowing me to overclock the CPU whilst trying to keep the system as quiet as possible.

There's many cpu coolers, alot of people will recommend different products, they mostly have the same performance. Just look up reviews and pick one you like. Corsair, nzxt, cooler master, etc.

What's your budget for a CPU cooler? I can recommend some for different price points, but it's not useful me suggesting a Be Quiet! pure rock when you can afford a dark rock pro 3.

if you would want a silent build i would go for the define s (there is one straight pad the airflow is taking so no "wind" noises). and use a external dvd drive (you will come out cheaper if you add it all up)

for the cooling if you really want ultra performance go for watercooling Corsair H100i or another 240mm radiator. (this one will make more noise then most aircoolers when you want really low temps)

if you want really low noise i would recommand Scythe Mugen 4 or Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 2

i got the scythe mugen with an extra fan and i dont even need to ramp up the rpm to get under 65 degrees (good airflow inside case too)(same cpu) beyond the point you can hear them. with a nice 4.7Ghz @1.35v overclock.

good luck my friend

If you want something very basic and cheap, its 212 Evo. For bit more you can get Dark Rock 2/3 or go for Noctua and Phanteks. I personally wouldn't spend for AIO unless you are for looks.
