No need for a Z97 if you're getting a locked CPU, unless you're going SLI 970's. Same goes for the 212 evo unless you just want to keep things extra cool (and the stock cooler is ugly IMO).

get a SSD. even a cheapo one with 120GB from a reputable brand such as Kingston or Samsung is gonna be around 50-70 USD, and totally worth it. It would speed up your system and other day to day tasks.

For gaming, a Seagate hybrid SSHD may be better as it does give you (after some time. the SSHD needs to "learn" what files you use most often) some increased performance over a standard WD disc.

Also, you should have gotten the "K" CPU. Non-"K" intel cannot be overclocked, so they are not nearly as good value for money as you cannot overclock them as time goes by and they start decaying (all electronics decay over time and get slower, nothing lasts forever).
