Omg so I just bought a Gigabyte 7870 and a sapphire r9 270x for crossfire but im very scared that it wont work because the gigabute 7870 is a pitcairn and the 270x is a Curacao, did I just WASTE my money? im extremely worried because i cant test them together because i need to save up for a better PSU.

I read that pitcairn was just renamed to curacao?????

I have no idea what I'm doing

Fair price. I don't see how even if you wasted buying the 7870, how you couldn't swing a profit by reselling at a bit higher price to get the R9 270X.

CPU: Pentium G3258 @ 3.2GHz || GPU:(first release,used) MSI R9 270 OC || Motherboard:MSI Z97-G45 Gaming Motherboard || RAM: 8 GB G.Skill Sniper 1600 || Monitors: Vizio 22 in Ultra slim 1080p TV || Storage: Seagate barracuda 160 GB 7200RPM,(REFURB) 1TB toshiba 7200RPM || PSU: (stripped from 2013 CAD PC)Corsair CX600 build was under $420
