so i recently bought a new SSD and i went ahead and installed windows and everything on it without formating the old Hdd.

when i had to download and install the 200 windows updates nothing was indicating any errors so i went on and shut down my computer.
the updates were installed once agian no errors or anything, but when i turned my computer back on i get an error message saying something along those lines:

error configuring windows updates. restoring changes. do not turn computer off.

(I am not sure that is the correct error message in english as i get it in danish, I simply tried to translate it)

Don't panic!

I had it also a couple of times. It's just because it are too much updates.

Doesn't matter, the pc will fix itself eventually, you just have to be patient.

Anyway, install updates next time in chunks of 20-30 updates each, so download 20, install them. Let them configure and whatever and then do another 20-30.

It will take a while, but it's safer.

thanks for the quick reply!! i will definietly try this

it's just soo fustrating having 2 wait 1 hour for update.

1 hour is not that bad :D

An old pc of me took 6 hours for installing 179 updates, and then roll them all back because they failed.
