how do i clean a mouse?

so there's this grey gunk building up on the side grips on my mouse and a little bit on my scroll wheel and right mouse button and i want to clean it before it piles up, what should i use to clean it?

Isopropyl Alcohol should do the trick. I would also take the mouse apart to get gunk out of the openings.
