at first i'm sorry, my english is bad. I'm from Germany.

 

I have 2 Questions:

1. Should i buy the h100i or the h100i GTX ?

 

 

and

 

2. How should i clean the CPU from the Thermal Compound ?

Air coolers at the same price are still better than h100i, but if u're running into a problems with free space - it's fine.

If u're replacing a cpu cooler, u need to apply new thermal compound on it.

99% isopropyl alcohol for cleaning off thermal paste. (70% is also fine)

I would go with the 100i GTX. This is primarily due to the fact that it uses a different block and tubing which improves on the prior design. I prefer the look of the new tubes they look premium. 

 

In terms of cleaning well its quite simple. You can get a micro fiber cloth and isopropyl alcohol and put some alcohol on the cloth and wipe off the residue. I use 99% isopropyl alcohol but you can use 75% as well.
