DVI D to DVI I Compatiblities Question.

So if i have a monitor, which i was going to run in surround with a 670, The monitor has HDMI, DP and DVI D, could i connect them via DVI D to DVI D, HDMI to HDMI and DP to DP to function in a 3 monitor setup?

Yes they are compatible. DVI-I carries analouge and digital signal. DVI-D only carries digital. So you can plug a DVI-D Cable from DVI-I to DVI-D.

A DVI-I Cable and Connector will have 4 little pins around the flat horizontal pin. DVI-D does not. You cannot use DVI-D to convert to VGA however you can use DVI-I.
