Is this a good budget build?

My friend recently came to me about wanting a PC build for gaming. I have a good bit of background knowledge on PC parts and I was curious if this is a good $400 budget build for him.

Get the cheapest 1150 board you can get and a Pentium g3258. You can at least get a few 100 mhz extra on it and it will perform far better than a 4300.

No, DO NOT GO WITH THE AMD FX LINE. YOU'RE BETTER OFF GETTING A DUAL CORE i3 WHICH WILL BE EQUIVALENT THEN YOU'LL HAVE ROOM TO UPGRADE WITHOUT PURCHASING A NEW MOTHERBOARD. Holy caps batman I went hard in the caps.

The GPU is beat by onboard graphics of a cpu, not even a APU is needed to match that.

DO NOT Get that Fx CPU. Return that motherboard and get an i3 4150, or a Pentium G3250.

I would get a 260x ,265 or 270x GPU 

The power supply seems a bit sketchy , try to get around 600w and 80+ 

If you can afford an SDD , its totally worth it

What others are saying. Not that FX cpu. Go I3 if you can, but if you can't try the 860k. I've heard its a decent value cpu.
