Headset for Video Recording

Guest

Hey guys!

I am going to be starting up a YouTube channel, and my boyfriend said I should get a headset for when I do my recording. I don't know anything about proper or decent headsets, so I decided to turn to the trusty folks of LTT as always. I would like to keep it around or under $60, it doesn't have to be over the top, and I would like a nice headset for amateur video recording. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks in advance!

Here you go. A decent pair for gaming and such. Mic is "O.K." At $60, you won't get too much in terms of headsets with good mics though. (They're an entire rarity, though.)

Alternatively, you could go the route of say.. A pair of Audio Technica headphones + a Blue Snowball iCE. Not sure if you'd be comfortable with a dedicated mic and headphone though?

I hadn't really given that a whole bunch of thought, to be honest. What would be the price comparison though?

If you follow these 3 tips you should have a blast.

i'm rather proud of this for some reason. http://imgur.com/6ttS5XZ

Someone else also mentioned the same mic, but does it pick up a lot of background noise? Do you know?

Can try with HyperX Cloud or Logitech.

except for that the cloud is not a viable option at this price point.

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)
