Okay so i've been planing on building a computer for months now, I've been researching and what now and i got this build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/ZdHdP6

I am on a budget so i cant go higher than 1k. My question is, IS my build good for the price, Did i make the right decision on the parts? the card i can get for 300 used, Or just buy it new for 400.

Pretty sure i can just take out some drive bays for the card and buy a 6 pin cord and i'll be all good.

Edit: I do plan on ocing a bit, If heat is a issue i can always liquid cool later, But for now i wanna try the fan cooling out.

Everything looks good. the LGA1150 socket gives upgrade (and downgrade) potential. And this:

TBH I think you can get a better case for cheaper eg Fractal design r4/5/s

That NZXT case is so overpriced

I would get this build instead and upgrade to SLI 970's in the future.

You could buy a strip of green LEDs that connect to usb and run them round your case. Linus did that once
